My Story

A few years ago, I struggled so much with discovering myself; I had no reason to take life seriously. So, I embraced procrastination of important tasks, giving preference to surfing the net without a purpose.

After seeing how my life was wasting right before me, whereas others made meaning of their lives, I CALLED MYSELF TO ORDER, β€œEvelyn, it’s time to take life seriously!”

To backup my new decision to take life seriously, I joined a transformation-and-improvement program, and that was it.

Another emotional challenge I had was people associated me with a strong personality. However, my frequent anger expressions caused relationship tension which made me feel cut off from others. Later, I found a motivational quote that later changed my life, “Anger is a momentary madness, so control your passion or it will control you.” – G. M. Trevelyan.

The quote motivated me to look for methods that would help control my emotions.

The decision to change led me to start keeping a journal to manage my angry emotions properly. I practiced mindful breathing in addition to deep breathing methods as a way to establish a counteraction period that separated my triggers from my responses. Telling friends about my difficulties enabled me to discover an empathetic group who understood my situation, thus enabling me to create better ways of handling my problems.
I developed a major mental transformation over time. The motivational quotes I studied evolved into routine motivational statements that gave me the strength to control my anger when it showed signs. Through this change, I regained happiness in activities that had formerly annoyed me.

The development of my mental attitude led to the recovery of my relationships–friends welcomed back my enduring serenity.

I dedicated myself to inner reflection which taught me how to use my rage constructively while I reclaimed both peace and happiness.

My Motivation

Taking time to reflect after completing the transformation-and-improvement program, I finally overcame my fear of failure and procrastination.

Subsequent to this, I developed a daily routine that helped me balance work and personal development through resilience, meditation, and goal-setting.

Inspired by my experiences, I have made it a mission to share my story with others and also help those who are going through the same life challenges.
